Keith Shanley
Experience
Keith has extensive experience throughout North America including Alaska, portions of South America, Europe, Russia and Southeast Asia. At Amoco, Keith was part of a team that implemented a new risk assessment process across multiple North American basins, causing new focus and acreage acquisition. As the subsurface team leader for a major North American gas field, his integration efforts generated $250 MM in 6 months. Keith’s key role in another integrated team resulted in acquisition of a major position in the giant Johna field, one of the largest discoveries in North America in the last 15 years. At Shell, Keith was part of a team which used DSP type integrated studies to significantly improve understanding of non-marine and paralic reservoirs. He has taught numerous petrophysical workshops and run multiple field trips to examine high resolution facies architecture and sequences.
